Latest Release Notes - Release 2.0 April 18, 2013

April 18, 2013 - Release 2.0 is now available for download.

Highlights:
  • MYOB support is added, now you can convert your MOYB company files into QuickBooks Online
  • Reckon versions 2009/2010 and 2011/2012 are validated and now supported
Other changes:
  • The tool now handles situations when GST is not turned on
  • Employees are now imported and transactions linked to employees are now properly imported
  • Tax code mapping requirement is relaxed, for situations where one underlying tax rate is not present, the tool will allow continuation of execution.
  • "Undeposited Funds" account detailed type is taken out of the drop down menu for the account type mapping screen, QuickBooks Online already has an account with the same detailed type, and it allows only one such account for each company.

April 7, 2013 - Release 1.3 is now available for download. Here's a summary of the changes.

Highlights
  • Revamped the tax code mapping screen, enforced rules that all tax codes used in Reckon will have to be mapped to QBO tax codes before the tool can move to the next step.
  • Added many more rules validation and QuickBooks Online company clean-up programmatically, as a result, the manual pre-conversion step of renaming default sales term is no longer necessary.
  • Added support for Reckon QuickBooks version 2009/2010.
